We use your information to respond to inquiries, provide placement guidance, and match your loved one with care facilities.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes. Ever.

3. Sharing Your Information

We share limited info (care needs/location) with providers as part of the matching process you requested. We do not share with others without consent unless required by law.

4. Data Security & Storage

Information is stored in our password-protected CRM with access limited to authorized personnel.

5. HIPAA & Health Information

Harbor Care Advisors is not a HIPAA-covered entity. We avoid storing protected health info (PHI) unless voluntarily provided to identify care options.

6. SMS & Text Messaging (A2P Compliance)

By submitting our contact form, you provide express written consent to receive SMS messages from Harbor Care Advisors.

Up to 4–6 messages per week during active support.

Part Two: Terms of Service

7. Nature of Our Services

Our services are always free to families. We are compensated through referral arrangements with facility partners.
No Fiduciary Relationship: We provide guidance and referrals; the final placement decision always rests with the family.

8. Referral Compensation Disclosure

Referral fees are paid by care providers, never by the family. Our compensation is standardized across all partners to ensure recommendations are based on fit, not fees.

9. No Guarantee of Outcome

We cannot guarantee facility availability, acceptance of your loved one, or specific standards of service from third-party facilities.

9b. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harbor Care Advisors is not liable for incidental or consequential damages related to third-party care facility actions.

Our total liability is $0, as our service is free to families.

10. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate info and conduct your own independent research on any facility before making a decision.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on HarborCareAdvisors.com is the property of Harbor Care Advisors.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii. Disputes shall be resolved in Maui County, Hawaii.

13. Changes to This Page

Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
